                   Reasons to Practice Tai Chi

  • Stimulates the brain which keeps the mind sharp and relaxes the body.

  • Tai chi can be easily adapted for anyone, from the most fit to people confined to wheelchairs or recovering from surgery.

  • It requires very little space and no special clothing or equipment.

  • You do it at your own pace.

  • There are lots of movements to keep you interested, and as you become more accomplished you can add those to your routine.

  • Strength is not as important as the proper application of force.

  • Reduces risk of falls in older adults

  • Improves mobility, flexibility, agility, balance and strength.

  • Reduces anxiety, depression, and stress.

  • Reduces joint pain and stiffness from Arthritis and muscle atrophy

Qi Gong is the root of Tai Chi. Tai Chi is the flower of Qi Gong.
